Privacy Policy

Effective November 3, 2026

This policy explains what information Argus LLC ("Argus", "we") handles when you use the Argus apps (Argus Sales Management, Argus Operations Management and the Argus app for iPhone and Android) and this website, why we handle it, and the choices you have.

Who is responsible

Argus provides its apps to businesses. The business that gives you an Argus account (your employer or the company you work with) decides what records go into its account and who can see them. For that business information we act on the business's behalf. For this website and for running the apps themselves, Argus LLC is responsible.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, work email, role, and sign-in records. Your company's administrator creates your account.
  • Business records your company enters: for example jobs, customers, leads, budgets, documents, notes and photos.
  • Device details for notifications: if you turn notifications on, a notification address for your phone or browser and the device type (for example "iPhone").
  • Camera and photo library: only when you choose to take or add a photo. The app does not read your library on its own.
  • Technical logs: basic records such as times, errors and browser or app version, used to keep the service running and secure.
  • Website visit counts: our website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without following you across other sites.
  • Website enquiries: what you type into the demo form (name, company, email, phone, trade, team size and message).

How we use it

  • To run the apps your company signed up for, and to show each person what their role allows.
  • To send notifications you or your company turned on.
  • To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve it.
  • To answer demo requests and support questions.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your company's records for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Argus, under contracts that limit their use of the information: database and file hosting (Supabase), website hosting (Cloudflare), notification delivery (Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) and the service that delivers our website's demo form. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Business records stay for as long as your company's account is active and as long as your company asks us to keep them. When an account closes, we delete or return its records unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Demo requests are kept only as long as we need them to follow up.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit, access is limited by role, and changes to financial records leave an audit trail. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account is at risk, contact us right away.

Your choices

  • Turn notifications off at any time in the app or in your phone's settings.
  • Ask your company's administrator to correct or remove your details, or contact us.
  • To delete your Argus account, ask your company's administrator or email support@argusapp.co. We confirm once it is done.

Children

Argus is made for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell company administrators about significant changes before they take effect.
